Lecture series - Medical studies and Paralympics - the view of a top athlete

In his lecture, Christoph Glötzner will discuss the connection between studying medicine and Paralympic competitive sport. After a brief introduction to himself and his career to date, he will provide insights into the sport of Para Alpine Skiing as well as an outlook on the upcoming 2026 Paralympic Winter Games in Cortina d'Ampezzo. The double burden that arises in addition to sport, especially in medical studies, as well as the challenges of a physical impairment are discussed. Finally, Glötzner will explain his personal goals in sport and his studies. At the end of the lecture, there will be an opportunity to ask questions and actively participate in the discussion.
