THE EARLY GREY BAND The Tyrolean cover rock band from Zirl has long since become an insider tip on the Tyrolean hard rock scene. Although the average age of the band members is around 65, the band captivates audiences with its powerful sound, pithy lyrics and unrivalled stage performance. The band's repertoire ranges from Die Toten Hosen, Brian Adams, Greenday and Jimi Hendrix to Alice Cooper, AC/DC, Deep Purple and many more. STEEL PHOENIX Following the sudden and unexpected death of Günther Holzknecht, singer and guitarist of the band ‘Ohne Filter Band’, in January 2023, the band fell into a state of shock of indefinite duration. The three experienced musicians Franz Pfeifenberger (Sitting Bull, Mike Spannberger and frieds, Talisman Blues Band...), Bernhard Wackerle (The Marquees, Callsign One, Cross Agers,...) and Winnie Adam (Albatros, Faltenrock,...) initially put their instruments aside. The equally experienced but much younger singer Tici Westreicher (former lead vocalist of Klaus Schubert's Rock Bunnies, Lady T Bones, Sixpack and many more...) broke the deadlock after a few rehearsals with her enthusiasm and unmistakable voice, and after a break of more than two years, the band rose like a phoenix from the ashes, revitalised - ‘Steel Phoenix’ was born!
