Forest fairy tales - an adventure for children in the middle of the forest

An interactive nature experience during Forest Week. From June 10 to 14, 2025, Tyrol is all about the Week of the Forest. The highlight for children will be the fairytale of the protection forest at Tummelplatz (meeting point: Tantegert bus stop) in Innsbruck. Here, young visitors can experience at first hand why our protection forest is essential to ward off floods, mudslides, avalanches and rockfalls.
In six magical scenes, the children encounter: the storm witches who whirl all the trees around, the snow giant who casts a spell of oblivion over the tree spirits, the fir spirit who no longer knows the difference between fir and spruce, the larch queen who has fallen in love and forgets her duties, the missing stone pine dwarf.
Without its guardians, the forest loses its strength - avalanches, rockfalls and white water threaten the valley. Only with the help of the children and the forest spirit Almajuri can the protective forest regain its strength.
