SOUND LECTURE NIGHT
Music has always been more than just entertainment – it has been a form of protest, an attitude and an expression of a generation. From the first rock “n” roll riffs in the 1950s to beat and blues rock to new wave, punk and reggae: every era has produced its own ‘young rebels’ who have changed society with new sounds.
At SOUND LECTURE NIGHT, DJs, music journalists and pop archivists Albrecht Dornauer (Subarchiv Innsbruck) and Al Bird Sputnik (Trash Rock Archives Vienna) take you on an audiovisual journey through 50 years of music history in Tyrol and Austria.
With records, pictures, videos and lots of stories, they show how international trends have shaped the local sound – and why some things that are normal today were considered scandalous back then.
An evening full of nostalgia, rhythm and insight – in the middle of the courtyard, as part of Coll:b am Hof
