The next Story Slam Innsbruck will take place on Friday, March 13, 2026. Fitting for this day, which is often associated with bad luck, we’re deliberately shining a spotlight on the “fail” stories of our lives. It’s all about minor mishaps, major mistakes, and moments we can laugh about today.
Do you have a personal story where something went really wrong? Then head up to the Story Slam stage! What’s the worst that could happen…?
Of course, you can also just relax in the audience, enjoy the stories, laugh along, and share in the excitement. Look forward to an evening that shows: Sometimes mistakes and mishaps make for the best stories.
Look forward to an evening where you’ll dive into other people’s worlds, find inspiration, and realize: We all have stories that connect us!

The rules for participating in the Story Slam:
Tell a story you’ve experienced yourself on the theme “Oh no, that went wrong…!”
On stage, speak off the cuff—no notes and no props
You have a maximum of 7 minutes
Advertising and hate speech are not allowed
Send us an email at info@storyslam-innsbruck.at with a short “Hey, I’d love to participate!” All relevant information will follow.
The “Story Jam”:
Toward the end of the evening, we’ll give volunteers from the audience another chance for a spontaneous open mic moment. Last-minute participants or those new to the stage can share their story here without any competitive pressure.
