Thomas Widerin: "Long Way Home – Solo by Bike from Alaska to Austria

A long way home...
429 days, 4 continents, 35 countries, 32,000 km: fascinating figures from a fascinating trip around the world on two wheels.
During his solo trip on his gravel bike, Thomas Widerin from Tyrol immersed himself deeply in the world of a cycling adventurer. Not only did he see fascinating countries and meet extraordinary people, he also cycled through the often mysterious world of (predatory) animals. The poorest people in faraway countries were always friendly, helpful, and showed the cyclist with his state-of-the-art and expensive equipment what it means to be happy and content with little. The most dangerous predators obviously "recognized" that Widerin was always aware that he was only a guest in their country. But the Tyrolean also had to learn to accept his physical and psychological limits.
In a gripping multivision presentation, the adventurer takes his visitors on a journey and lets them share in all the beautiful, but also unusual and frustrating experiences. Live narration, images, videos, and music that get under your skin.
