TLT Series Marathon: My Brilliant Friend

A true “My Brilliant Friend” marathon will take over the [K2] starting in mid-May: All three episodes of the TLT theater series *My Brilliant Friend* will be presented in a single evening—a cinematic experience on the TLT’s most intimate stage. The reunion with friends Lila and Elena immerses the audience in the story of an epoch-making friendship—marked by biting rivalry and deep affection—from childhood to old age.

Since the 23/24 season, each season has featured a part of the Neapolitan saga of intense emotions, which spans six decades in the novel. Three different directors brought the series to the stage of the [K2] over three years, with two different actresses from the ensemble taking on the roles of the two friends in each part. Now it is time to revisit the entire story with all those involved. Each performance lasts about an hour—two intermissions, one after the first part and one after the second, offer an opportunity during this Italophile series evening to reflect on the theatrical experience in lively conversation over a glass of Prosecco.
