A GschichtnKabarett at the interface of literature, music and visual art. Faces in trees, roots, rocks or stones... I see them all the time! Am I crazy? Brigitte Knapp asks herself this and goes to the ‘therapist’ Daniel Faranna, who also happens to play a bunch of different instruments. He advises her to listen to the faces and write down her stories... ‘verwurzelt & versteinert - GsichterGschichtn’ is a very special collection of stories: published in September 2024 by Edition Laurin in Innsbruck, it brings together poetry, prose and songs in German and South Tyrolean dialect to accompany photographed faces in natural formations. The songs (composition and vocals: Brigitte Knapp, arrangement, vocals and all instruments: Daniel Faranna) can be listened to online via QR codes. Brigitte Knapp and Daniel Faranna present book and music on stage as a theatrical cabaret evening at the interface of literature and music with videos by Stefan Ghedina. The evening will be accompanied by a picture exhibition, which will show other faces photographs with accompanying songs/short audio plays. https://www.hungerburgtheater.com/ The event will take place outdoors.
