VORBRENNER: The intoxication of things

This sound installation is based on an interest in working with the aspect of the invisible. Air as a material—visibly less than nothing. Moving air in space becomes audible sound. Propeller noises carry us through the air and the sea, deafening noise from server farms powers our infrastructure and brings cat videos to our cell phones. The aim is to translate these turbulent currents and make them phenomenologically experienceable. Within 10 days, an aeroacoustic test facility will be created for this purpose on the premises of BRUX.
