Nina Mair: Design as a Process

For his new photo book "Cockaigne", Gregor Sailer visited fabulous food forests in the arid regions of the south and exposed food deserts in the icy north, test facilities for Mars and moon missions, high-security server farms and production facilities for artificial meat, algae, insect, jellyfish, underground urban and vertical farms, huge robotized greenhouses and sealed-off research facilities for virus and cell cultivation. Gregor Sailer's large-format images, taken with an analog view camera, provide access to a colorful world of technoid science fiction, innovations and illusions, surreal architectures and artificial high-tech landscapes.
