Winter Young Action Day at Patscherkofel

Has your child always wanted to improve their skiing skills or try snowboarding for the first time? Then join us for our second Winter Young Action Day at Patscherkofel!
Wrap up warm, pack your winter gear, and experience an unforgettable day full of community, action, sports, and snowy adventures. Be there live for the second winter edition and heat things up with us on the — hopefully deeply snow-covered — Patscherkofel!
What can you expect?
With fire in our hearts and burning soles under our feet, no snowflake will be left untouched. In cooperation with the Patscherkofelbahn and the City of Innsbruck, we’ll really get Patscherkofel moving on 07 February 2026.
Between 10:00 am and 3:00 pm, kids can (re)discover snow-covered sports and frosty leisure activities together with experienced coaches around the valley station, on the Heiligwasser meadow, in Kofele’s Kinderland, and in the ice channel.
The goal, once again, is to show children what they can do in and around Innsbruck. What activities, courses, and programs are available for them to spend their free time in a meaningful way? A variety of groups and individuals, clubs, initiatives, and companies will present insights into their diverse winter programs.
To top it all off, we’ll get everyone moving one last time with the Funky Monkeys, DJ Fox, and the Party Panda … oh yahhh!
Winter Young Action Day Schedule
10:00 am – 3:00 pm
Afterwards: “Shake your booty” with the Funky Monkeys, DJ Fox, and the Party Panda
Ski Tickets
The leisure activities at the valley station, Kofele’s Kinderland, and the Heiligwasser lift can be used free of charge.
Tickets for the Patscherkofelbahn are available at the Patscherkofelbahn ticket office.
The Freizeitticket Tirol is valid.
Sports Equipment
For the activities offered, kids will need waterproof and warm winter clothing, warm shoes with good soles, and a helmet with ski goggles. Some equipment (skis, snowboards, etc.) will be available on site, but only in limited quantities—and personal equipment usually fits best anyway. Therefore, please be sure to bring your own equipment.
Participation
In order for children to take part in the activities, parents or a designated legal guardian must sign a liability waiver on site. Afterward, the kids will receive a festival wristband and can participate in the activities free of charge.
Getting There
Arrival is possible both by public transport and by car.
Parking fees will be refunded at the ticket office, and holders of the Freizeitticket Tirol can obtain a free parking ticket.
