We're stacking chairs - TLT Youth Club

The Youth Club offers young people aged 14 and older the opportunity to engage deeply with theater. Under the direction of Daniela Oberrauch, we meet once a week for rehearsals to act together, experiment, and bring a play to the stage. The focus is on both the fun and joy of acting and the desire to discover new perspectives.

This season, we are working on the play*Wir stapeln Stühle* by Benjamin Blaikner. It tells the story, in a humorous yet thought-provoking way, of how society functions—and what happens when we question its rules and structures. The young people engage with these questions in a playful way, slipping into different roles and discovering how multifaceted community can be.

The work in the youth club thus combines artistic practice with social reflection: through improvisation, text work, and rehearsals, a production gradually takes shape, which will premiere in July 2025.

Our youth club is open to anyone who wants to be on stage, express their creativity, and become part of a motivated ensemble—whether or not they have prior experience.
