We're stacking chairs - TLT Youth Club

The Youth Club offers young people ages 14 and up the opportunity to engage deeply with theater. Under the direction of Daniela Oberrauch, we meet once a week for rehearsals to act together, experiment, and bring a play to the stage. The focus is on both the fun and joy of acting and the excitement of discovering new perspectives.

This season, we are working on the play*Wir stapeln Stühle* by Benjamin Blaikner. It tells the story, in a humorous yet thought-provoking way, of how society functions—and what happens when we question its rules and structures. The young people explore these questions through play, slipping into different roles and discovering just how complex community can be.

The work in the youth club thus combines artistic practice with social reflection: through improvisation, text work, and rehearsals, a production gradually takes shape, which will be performed in July 2025.

Our youth club is open to anyone who wants to be on stage, express their creativity, and become part of a motivated ensemble—regardless of whether they have prior experience or not.
