Wissen|schaf(f)t Gesundheit -Was wir über Krebs wissen u. wie wir ihn behandeln

"Wissen|schaf(f)t Gesundheit" is a lecture series organized by the Medical University of Innsbruck. Doctors and researchers present the current state of research in an understandable way to an interested public in appealing lectures.
Cancer research has developed rapidly in recent years. A shining example of this is immunotherapy, with which significant progress has been made in the treatment of many cancers, such as lymphdrü or lung cancer.

The tumor environment is also a promising target in research. Findings from this lead us to expect the development of novel therapies that will help people to better control or even cure their cancer. Dominik Wolf, Director of the University Clinic for Oncology and Hematology, will explain the key findings of this research in an understandable way and explain what this knowledge means for patients in concrete terms.
Free admission, no registration required, admission from 18:00 in the main lecture hall (Audimax).
The lecture can also be followed as a livestream.
