World Masters Innsbruck

The world's best Latin American dancers compete in a high-class competition.

All under one roof – no boundaries, just dancing The World Masters connects and unites: from young to old, from dance students to amateurs to professionals. For 15 years now, the event has been offering dancers of all levels the opportunity to be part of this unique dance festival.

New for 2026 is the ÖTSV World Masters Innsbruck Cup, with over 50 different age and performance classes in couple and solo competitions in standard and Latin. Also returning are the 14th PTVÖ AL AUSTRIAN Amateur League in standard and Latin, as well as the 13th ProAm tournament, in which professionals compete alongside amateurs. The programme is rounded off by the 14th Austrian Dance School Championships, where dance students can gain their first major tournament experience and compete against each other.

A very special highlight is the ‘WALZER-Wanderpokal der Alpen’ (Alpine Waltz Challenge Cup), which has been an integral part of the World Masters since 2015. Under the patronage of the Tiroler Tageszeitung newspaper, dance enthusiasts of all ages – from children to adults to seniors – compete for this coveted award in the public competition.
