Desert in Transition - a Trek to Tagounite

A short documentary film about a Sahara expedition to Morocco and the permaculture work at Romana Garden. The film (approx. 25 min) combines stunning desert images with candid moments from the group: physical challenges, thirst, vastness, silence and learning. On site, Jessica and M'Barek show how simple means can be used to revitalise soils and combat desertification.
After the screening, filmmaker Patrick Barylla and expedition leader Fabienne Gorges invite you to a panel discussion. Jessica and M'Barek will be joining us live from Morocco. Topics: desertification in southern Morocco, the basics of permaculture, expedition trips and ways to support the project on site.
