Atlas of the starry sky

A very special literary evening: the great storyteller Raoul Schrott presents his work “Atlas of the Starry Sky and Creation Myths of Humanity,” accompanied musically by the virtuoso Axamer hammered dulcimer player Maria Ma.

“You can only understand a culture if you know its starry sky.” Raoul Schrott takes us on a fascinating literary journey to the origins of humanity – to a time when the night sky was once the great narrative cinema. Maria Ma's musical dreamscapes harmonize perfectly with the author's storytelling artistry. The result is an evening full of poetry and mysticism that will linger long in the memory.The Volkstheater Axams provides the perfect setting for this event.
