Freeride Film Festival 2025

This year’s Freeride Filmfestival (FFF) comes under a special star: for the first time, the FFF Awards will be presented in five categories. At the opening night on November 7 in Innsbruck, we celebrate the winners - their films will be shown on the big screen before the trophies are officially awarded.

The jury has selected six outstanding productions from the nominated films to be shown on tour. What unites them is the play with the limit - in the mountains, in nature, and in life itself. They navigate the thresholds between natural forces and human experience: from motherhood and extreme sports, to Japanese storm philosophy, to spiritual expeditions in Mongolia.
Once again, FFF spans the arc between visually poetic arthouse productions, documentary authenticity, and classic big-mountain action - always with the aim of opening up new perspectives on life in the mountains
