Positive Futures Festival with Avalanche Kaito, Muovipussi, Das Kinn, Zohastre

The French-Italian duo ZOHASTRE creates a whirlwind of possessed drums and ethereal electronics. Héloïse and Olmo use hypnotic audio gestures to summon ancient gods and nature spirits. Their sound, both primitive and futuristic, is inspired by noise, trance, electronics, and delirious breakbeat. ZOHASTRE transports you to an ecstatic, psychedelic world—you gaze at a blazing fire in a lost village, around which the inhabitants dance in a circle.

Das Kinn, a project by Frankfurt artist Toben Piel, plunges us into a raw, intuitive exploration of the decline of the present with its debut Ruinenkampf. Deafening beats, staccato vocals, and the unsettling sound of colliding bones merge into an anthem of decay. Inspired by visits to cemeteries, his work combines NDW, industrial, and experimental electronica. Das Kinn fearlessly confronts the contradictions of a hypercapitalist world.

Muovipussi, founded in 2018 by Milla Lahtinen, Niklas Blomberg, and Heidi Finnberg, blends rap, crisp pop, and metal into explosive electronic sound. With homemade instruments and powerful synth beats, they create unpredictable, energetic concerts. Virtuoso playing and fast-paced rap leave plenty of room for fun and emotion. When we ask ourselves, “What the hell is going on here?!” they have achieved their goal: to question norms and turn expectations upside down.

Avalanche Kaito defies categorization as grrriot_punk_noise. At the center is Burkinabe singer Kaito Winse, guardian of the griot tradition. Together with drummer Benjamin Chaval and anarchist guitarist Nico Gitto, they form an undeniably explosive trio. The atmosphere they conjure up is carried by ancient traditions that collide with avant-garde noise and trance power. New and captivating.
