Around the stone pine forest - excursion

Guided tour in German!
The protected area managers present the Patscherkofel-Zirmberg landscape conservation area, focussing on the stone pine forest and its inhabitants. From the Patscherkofel mountain, a look is also taken at the other Tyrolean protected areas. In the Alpine Garden, employees of the Innsbruck Botanical Garden will explain how plants have adapted to this habitat.
At 1.00 pm, the participants are welcomed at the Patscherkofel Schutzhaus refuge and divided into groups. These groups alternate between the Zirmweg conservation area and the Alpine Garden. After an hour there will be a break and the groups will swap. The tour is expected to end at 3.30 pm so that there is enough time to take the cable car down.

In case of bad weather, all registered participants will be informed by Wednesday 11 June 2025 about an alternative programme or about a cancellation (in case of very bad weather).
