The Simpsons Exhibition

Thanks to the tremendous interest and success of last year’s exhibition, we have once again been able to secure new works—original production cels and original drawings—all of which were created prior to the 2002 digitization.

With 37 seasons and 768 episodes, “The Simpsons” has been considered the longest-running animated series for over 35 years. The Simpsons’ creator, Matt Groening, revolutionized television with this animated series for adults. The small-town family (Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa, and Maggie), with their googly eyes and buckteeth, is known for its dark humor and unsparing view of our society.

The series has won numerous awards, including 21 Emmys, and is also immortalized with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
